George Mason University is closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 23, 2024 through Friday, January 3, 2025. While many university resources are unavailable during this time, there are still several community-based services that students are encouraged to utilize as needed.

Food and Housing Insecurity
Virginia residents can search for local resources around food/meals, housing, household needs, and more through Virginia 211.
Mental Health
George Mason students have FREE access to TimelyCare – a virtual mental health and well-being platform crafted specifically for college students. Physical Health
Over Winter Break, students have access to the free nurse advice phone service. Call 703-993-2831 and follow the phone prompts. Notice: the after-hours nurse advice service is provided by CareNet Health. Student Health Services is not responsible for advice given by CareNet Health.

Transportation
