SRS Presentation Formats

All Student Research Symposium participants are welcome to apply for one of two presentation formats: an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

You will be asked to select your preferred presentation style in your Abstract Submission. Please note that oral presentation slots are limited and will be selected based on research and application quality.

Poster Presentation

All SRS poster presenters are responsible for creating a research poster and a 3-5 minute “elevator pitch” describing their research and poster in more detail.

Participants will stand next to their poster for the duration of the event to answer questions and engage in discussions around their research. Further information and guidance will be given to students accepted for this presentation format.

Oral Presentation

Oral presentations include a live 5-7 minute slideshow presentation.

Please note oral presentations will be live at this year’s SRS and will not be pre-recorded. Further information and guidance will be given to students accepted for this presentation format.
